Dietitian and nutritionist Katerina Panova told the publication “ Klops ” in an interview which soups should be eaten as rarely as possible.

It turns out that any soup can end up on the list of harmful ones, since everything depends on the composition and method of preparation.

In general, the expert recommends avoiding first courses that contain a lot of saturated fats, salt and preservatives.

Examples include pea soup with smoked meats and mushroom soup.

The nutritionist considers these dishes to be the most harmful.

Smoked ingredients make the soup high in calories, contain carcinogenic substances, and if consumed regularly, have a negative impact on health.

Mushroom soup can cause heaviness in the stomach if cooked in fatty and salty broth.

Healthy soups

Healthy soups are cooked in chicken broth, with vegetables and spices, but served without meat.

Such dishes strengthen the immune system, normalize metabolism, and improve digestion.

The expert also advises adding fresh herbs and spices, such as parsley, dill, turmeric and ginger.

Finally, the expert reminded about observing the terms and conditions for storing soup.
