In an interview with RBC Life , nutritionist and head of the department for the organization of therapeutic nutrition at the Scientific Research Clinical Institute of Childhood of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region Anna Basova spoke about which dishes on the New Year's table are considered the most harmful.
The expert noted that everything depends on the ingredients and New Year's salads.
Typically, such snacks contain a lot of fatty foods and a minimum of vegetables.
The second unhealthy dish on the New Year's table is fried meat or chicken.
It is better to cook them in the oven. Baked meat is less harmful than fried.
Next, the nutritionist drew attention to sausages and smoked meats.
The next item is carbonated drinks, juices and alcohol with a lot of sugar.
It is recommended to dilute store-bought juices with water in a ratio of 1/3 juice and 2/3 water.
If you can't give up alcohol, it is recommended to choose drinks with a minimum sugar content. Dry table wines are best.
Be sure to prepare dishes with avocado, broccoli, cauliflower, and apples, the nutritionist advises.
