Therapist Tatyana Taradeeva spoke about this in more detail, writes the publication Izvestia .

As the doctor noted, if you overdo it with the amount of this berry in your diet, then extra pounds cannot be avoided.

Therefore, it is better for those who have diabetes to avoid watermelons. People who have carbohydrate metabolism disorders should also exclude watermelon from their diet.

Those who have urinary system diseases should not eat the berry either. After all, such a product puts additional strain on the kidneys.

If a person is healthy, then the fruits can be eaten in the first half of the day.

In addition, one should not eat more than 500 grams per day, but on the condition that the person does not eat other carbohydrates at the same time.
