Allergist-immunologist Elena Paretskaya noted that some of these components can cause unpleasant consequences, including itching and burning.
The doctor emphasized that people prone to allergic reactions should be the first to be attentive. The same rule applies to those with increased sensitivity of the skin.
The doctor indicated that in such cases one should not buy products containing sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate, reports the portal “ Doctor Peter ”.
For people with allergies and sensitive skin, such components often cause redness, dryness, itching and burning. Paretskaya advised using sulfate-free shampoos if at least one of the listed symptoms occurs.
