The disease can be provoked not only by an unhealthy lifestyle, bad habits, but also by the consumption of meat products with certain preservatives.

Scientists from France conducted a study that proved that a preservative that gives sausages or cold cuts a pleasant pink hue and increases shelf life can cause the development of this disease.

During the work, data from about 100 thousand volunteers were studied.

It turned out that people who more actively consumed such products with nitrite additives had a greater tendency to develop a dangerous disease.

It is for this reason that you need to significantly reduce the amount of such products or completely abandon them.

The corresponding findings of foreign experts were published in the journal PLOS Medicine .
