Often, in the early stages, not only colon cancer may not show any symptoms, but also cancer of other parts of the body. All colon tumors develop from polyps.

The first task when detecting bowel cancer is to remove polyps. Oncologist Alexander Degtyarev said that the simplest test for detecting bowel cancer is a stool test for occult blood.

If such an analysis shows a positive result, then it is worthwhile to conduct a colonoscopy, which will examine the intestines and detect polyps with subsequent removal.

All fragments are sent for examination and the risk group is determined based on the results. Unfortunately, there is a tendency for colon cancer to become younger.

People with a Western diet have an increased risk of bowel cancer. In some countries, bowel screening begins as a routine examination at age 40.

Symptoms of cancer include: bowel movement disorder, loose stools and constipation, mucus or blood in the stool.

By the way, the first and second stages of cancer respond well to treatment, so a full body scan should be performed every year.
