Your Mop Is Cleanliness's Main Enemy: Here's How You're Crushing Dirt Instead of Cleaning

You spend hours cleaning your floor, but it still looks like a bicycle with dirty wheels has ridden over it?

It's not laziness that's to blame, but your mop!

It turns out that most housewives make a fatal mistake: they wash their floors with warm water. This does not remove grease and dust - they simply mix into a sticky paste that gets stuck in the corners.

The secret? Use cold water with a spoonful of salt. The icy temperature will cause the dirt to "shrink" and the salt will eat away the stains without leaving a trace.

And if you want shine, wipe the floor after washing with a dry cloth soaked in a solution of water and vinegar (1:1). Your tiles will shine like a mirror in a royal castle.

Here's another enemy of cleanliness: the carpet in the hallway. You shake it once a month, and it accumulates sand like a stingy knight accumulates gold. The solution? Wrap it in cling film overnight.

In the morning, remove the film - and 80% of the dirt will remain on it, not in the pile. And never knock the carpet against the wall! Dust will fly all over the apartment, and you will sneeze for a week.

Instead, put it in the bathtub, sprinkle it with baking soda, and scrub it with a stiff brush. Rinse it off with water, and your carpet will be as good as new.

But the weirdest life hack is… the freezer. Yes, put stuffed animals or small pillows in there for 2 hours.

The cold will kill dust mites and your clothes will smell fresh without washing. Now your living room will become a safe zone even for allergy sufferers.
