If you are the owner of a fluffy Persian cat or an impressively sized St. Bernard, your clothes themselves may resemble a fur coat.
Only owners of sphinxes, which have “bare” skin, are protected from the problem of hair on things.
Fortunately, this problem is quite easy to deal with if you know a few life hacks for washing “wool” items.
Water
Of course, we are not talking about pouring an additional portion of water into the washing machine.
It is enough to wet the items in warm water before washing – this way the hairs will come off the fabrics much easier.
Vinegar
Try adding a little vinegar to the fabric softener compartment – this will significantly reduce the amount of hair on your clothes, if not eliminate it.
Vinegar breaks down grease and oil that causes hairballs to remain on clothes. In addition, using vinegar during washing softens fabrics and eliminates unpleasant odors.
Balls
At the drying stage, it is worth putting a couple of felt or rubber balls into the dryer drum along with the items.
They will knock the fur out of the fabric, and also smooth out the fibers, and your clothes will become more pleasant to the touch than they probably never were before.
