Cream-filled confectionery is one of the most dangerous products in terms of the possibility of poisoning.
Elena Spetsenko, head of the Roskachestvo Food Safety Competence Center, warned about this.

First, you should carefully study the composition. Choose products with natural ingredients.
Avoid products with a lot of preservatives.
Secondly, the appearance of the cake. The packaging should be undamaged.
If the cake has an unpleasant smell, strange color or texture, it is better to refuse to buy it, Spetsenko recommended.
It is also necessary to pay attention to the production date and expiration date.
It depends on the filling. Torg with whipped cream or custard, even in the refrigerator, remains fresh for no longer than 6 hours.
According to Spetsenko, confectionery products with cream are one of the most dangerous products in terms of the possibility of poisoning.
Cakes with fruit filling, cream or protein-whipped cream remain fresh for up to 36 hours, without cream – up to 72 hours.
The cake must be kept in the refrigerator at a temperature of +2 to +6 degrees, the expert added.
