One of the most popular purchases in grocery stores is canned goods.
Unfortunately, people often return home with goods of obviously low quality, which, among other things, poses a health risk.
How to choose a really good product? At first glance, it is not such an easy task, considering the similar jars.
In fact, everything is simple. The main thing is to pay attention to some features.
First of all, it is worth remembering that truly good canned food cannot be cheap.
When choosing a product, look at the jar: it should not be dented or bulging.
And if you come across exactly this one, know that there were violations during storage or transportation. We do not buy.
You can also find out about the quality of stewed meat or canned fish by shaking the can.
If it gurgles, it means there is little meat in the container, but a lot of liquid.
Let's not forget that canned goods, like all food products, must comply with GOST or technical specifications (TU).
Information about this should be contained in the form of appropriate inscriptions on the can (label, for example).
The popularity of the brand does not guarantee the quality of the product. What is more important is the region in which the canned goods were produced.
So, if we buy stewed meat, it is better to take the one that is produced in regions with developed livestock farming.
For canned fish, the advice is to take those that were produced on the sea coast (ideally).
