This winter is marked by temperature fluctuations (mostly above zero), wet snow and rain, slippery roads, slush and dampness.
All this is extremely dangerous in terms of the cleanliness of your trousers.
Sometimes you don’t even make it to the bus stop or metro station before you’re already covered in stains.
However, even in such weather conditions, you can walk without getting a drop of dirt on your boots and pants.
Choosing the "right" places
First of all, if you don't want to do laundry every night, you need to walk on the least polluted sections of the road.
Naturally, we go around the puddles. If this is not possible, we walk very carefully, rising up on our tiptoes.
Gait
It is important. You need to step from heel to toe, and lift your foot off the ground only when it is completely behind you.
Don't lift your knees too high or tilt your heels back, otherwise the dirt from your soles will transfer onto your pants.
When walking, it is advisable to keep your legs as far apart as possible, because your trousers can get dirty not only at the back, but also at the sides.
There is no need to run in mud and slush, and it is also advisable not to walk very quickly.
Sole
In conditions of slush, mud and puddles, it is recommended to wear shoes with smooth soles.
It is a well-known fact: the larger the tread on the soles of your boots, the dirtier your feet will be after going outside.
Why? Because water and dirt accumulate in the channels and holes in the sole.
If you walk incorrectly, this content ends up on your trouser legs. Therefore, shoes with smooth soles are preferable.
Secret "weapon" against dirt
Protect your pant legs before you go out.
Treat them with a water repellent spray and let dry completely.
After such treatment, no dirt will stick to your trousers.
