Over time, even the whitest curtains lose their appeal, become dull and acquire a grayish tint.
Don't rush to part with your favorite curtains, because there is a simple and effective way to return tulle to its perfect whiteness in just a few hours.
To restore dazzling whiteness, you don’t need expensive chemicals. All you need is 5 pinches of products that you most likely already have at home: soda ash and laundry soap.
Ingredients required
To return the tulle to its original purity, stock up on water, 150 g of soda ash and the same amount of grated laundry soap. The last ingredient, by the way, can be replaced with laundry soap in liquid form, so as not to waste time on grinding it.
Preparation of the product
Fill a basin with warm water and dissolve 150 g of soda ash in it. Do the same with laundry soap.
Mix the resulting mixture well so that you end up with a homogeneous soap mixture.
Bleaching of tulle
Immerse the tulle in the prepared solution and leave it here to soak for 4 hours to remove dust and dirt.
If you have to deal with old stains, leave the tulle in a basin overnight.
After soaking, drain the water and evaluate the result - it should be cloudy and dirty, which confirms the effectiveness of the cleaning agent.
After such procedures, the curtains on your windows will shine white again, as if they had just come from the store.
