An ink stain on a shirt or jeans can ruin anyone's mood.
Regular washing often doesn't help, and the risk of permanently ruining the fabric makes you nervous.
But there are proven methods that will remove ballpoint pen marks without leaving a hint of a problem.

The power of simple ingredients
The first assistant will be laundry soap with the 72% mark. Its alkaline base easily breaks down ink.
Wet the stain with warm water (not higher than 40°C), rub generously with soap and leave for 15 minutes. Rub vigorously with a soft-bristled brush, then put the item in the washing machine.
For delicate fabrics, dishwashing gel can be used instead of soap: rub a drop of the product in a circular motion and then rinse.
Chemistry to the rescue
If the "old-fashioned" method does not work, use a stain remover. It is important to choose a product that is suitable for the type of fabric: for colored items - oxygen, for white items - chlorine-containing (only for cotton and linen!).
Apply the composition strictly according to the instructions, having previously tested it on an inconspicuous area. Do not forget about hand protection - some solutions are aggressive to the skin.
Acid attack
Mix equal parts table vinegar and water. Soak a cotton pad in the solution, gently blot the stain and leave for 20 minutes.
For light-colored fabrics, use lemon juice instead of vinegar: cut the fruit in half and rub the pulp into the stain.
After treatment, rinse the item thoroughly to neutralize the acid.
Before any procedure, check the fabric's reaction to the chosen product - for example, on the inside seam.
And remember: the fresher the stain, the easier it is to remove. After successful cleaning, do not forget to wash the product completely.
These methods have already saved more than one item from becoming “home” clothing – try it and see for yourself!
