The kitchen is one of those places in the apartment that needs cleaning almost every day.

At the same time, the most serious problem for many housewives engaged in cleaning is traces of grease.

Often oil stains cover not only work surfaces and household appliances, but also the floor.

Fat can end up here for a variety of reasons: during the cooking process, something often spills, drips or splashes.

Removing this kind of dirt is not easy – unless you know a couple of time-tested life hacks.

If the fat has not yet had time to “eat into” the coating, then it can be removed using household chemicals, but before applying them, be sure to wet the floor with water, which should be warm.

This little trick will make the stain removal process easier.

When it comes to cleaning products, you need to choose one that suits the type of flooring in your kitchen, so as not to accidentally damage it or discolor it.

If the contents of the jar of floor cleaning product have run out, use folk remedies.

Baking soda and vinegar are great for cleaning grease off floors.

To prepare a soda solution, you will need 100 g of soda and 10 liters of water, and for a vinegar solution, you will need 0.5 cups of 9% vinegar and the same bucket of water.

Important: Do not use vinegar on stone or parquet floors.
