If kitchen towels have long been covered with stains of unknown origin, this is not a reason to get rid of them.
Housewives who have been through various life troubles assure that you can get rid of any dirt using a combination of vegetable oil, ammonia and soda.
How to Wash Kitchen Towels
First of all, prepare a capacious container - a saucepan or a bucket will do.
Fill it with 5 liters of hot water and begin mixing the cleaning mixture, consisting of 3 tablespoons of ammonia, the same amount of refined sunflower oil and 5 tablespoons of baking soda.
Leave the towels in the resulting solution for about 4 hours.
Be sure to cover the container with soaking kitchen textiles with a lid - this way the water in it will stay hot longer.
Finally, you need to wash the towels using washing powder. This can be done either in a washing machine or by hand.
