It serves faithfully for years, but one day after washing you notice: the laundry smells damp, and there is an unpleasant “aroma” inside the appliance.
The culprit will be found unexpectedly - the rubber rim of the door. In its folds, water residues, particles of detergents and dirt accumulate, creating an ideal environment for mold.
The solution is simpler than it seems and does not require expensive means.

The rubber seal is the main "accumulator" of problems. Even if it looks clean on the outside, black mold stains and sticky residue may be hidden inside the folds.
They are the source of the smell that spoils the impression of freshly washed items.
Table vinegar (9%) will deal with stains without chemicals.
Soak a napkin or cotton pad in it and gently wipe the rim, paying attention to the folds.
Leave for half an hour, then remove any remaining dirt with a damp cloth.
To enhance the effect, run an empty wash at 60°C, adding 100 ml of vinegar to the powder compartment - this will disinfect the drum and drain.
To prevent the problem from returning, wipe the rim with a dry cloth after each wash and leave the door slightly open for ventilation.
Once a month, use folk life hacks: for example, instead of vinegar, use a solution of citric acid (2 tablespoons per glass of water). This will prevent the appearance of plaque and extend the life of the equipment.
Mold is not a death sentence. A few simple steps - and your assistant will again delight you with ideal work without extraneous "aromas".
