What to do with dried cookies: you can always throw them away

A vase filled with your favorite candies and fresh cookies has long become an integral “attribute” that can be seen on the dining or kitchen table.

Our grandmothers, who wanted to create an atmosphere of coziness and hospitality in their homes, willingly resorted to this type of “decoration”.

But while candies can sit quietly for months waiting for their moment, the same cannot be said about cookies.

After just a few days, the “kurabye” and other similar products dry out – and there is absolutely no desire to eat such a delicacy.

However, there is one way that can bring cookies back to life - it will definitely help out in situations when there is nothing left for tea except dried out pastries, or when guests are already on the doorstep, and you do not have time to buy fresh treats.

To resuscitate, you will need a baking dish, which you need to fill with cookies, sprinkle with water and send in this form to the oven.

Sweets only need to be in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

During this time, the cookies will become soft again - you will never be able to distinguish them from fresh baked goods.
