How to clean up a broken egg: just don't grab a rag or napkin

Even an experienced housewife can have an incident while in the kitchen.

Due to carelessness or some other reason, eggs fall right out of your hands or roll off the table.

Of course, when falling from a great height, the fragile shell cracks, and the white and yolk spread out in an unappetizing puddle on the floor.

What is usually done in such situations? Indeed, as a rule, clean housewives grab a rag or try to collect the viscous substance with a napkin.

But this is fundamentally wrong - if you have already found yourself in a similar situation, you probably know why: these familiar cleaning “tools” only smear “chicken caviar” across the floor.

Instead, you should be resourceful and stock up on the most common salt: whether it is coarse or fine is not so important.

So, shake the straw directly over the broken egg and leave it alone for 10-15 minutes.

This time is enough for the salt to destroy the structure of the protein: as a result, it will become much harder and thicker, and you can easily remove it from the floor with a paper towel - there will be no traces left.
