Bed linen should be changed at least once a week, and for those who suffer from acne, dermatitis, allergies and other diseases, even more often.
The duvet cover and sheets should be washed in accordance with the recommendations indicated on the label attached to them.
In addition to this rule, you can use the tips from this article - they will make the washing process even more effective.
1. Sort your laundry by type and color – the washing mode depends on this. White items should be washed separately – this way they will not get stained, and you will be able to use special products to preserve whiteness. Light and colored laundry can be washed together, and dark and black – again, separately.
2. Do not wash children's and adult's bedding together.
3. Remember that bedding is quite bulky and, when wet, heavy. If you have several sets in your laundry basket, wash them separately: you can wash one double set or two children's sets at a time.
4. When cleaning bedding, choose detergents based on their color. Opt for liquid gels rather than washing powder – this will reduce the risk of skin irritation.
5. Before placing pillowcases and duvet covers in the drum of the washing machine, turn them inside out. This is necessary in order to preserve the color and clarity of the pattern longer.
