Is water draining too slowly from your sink?
Most likely, the problem is a serious blockage.
It is possible that fat has accumulated on the walls of the pipe. And the thicker this build-up, the slower the water drains.
If no measures are taken, the pipe may become completely clogged: the water will not drain at all.
However, there is no need to panic. After all, you probably have a supply of a cheap, but incredibly effective remedy for blockages in your home.
We are talking about the most common baking soda.
How to Use Baking Soda to Unclog a Drain
Take a large saucepan, pour 3 liters of plain water into it and place the pan on the stove.
As soon as the liquid begins to boil, turn off the burner, add 3 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate to the boiling water and stir gently.
Pour the resulting solution into the sink drain.
The result of this simple procedure should be the complete dissolution of fat in the pipes.
Important: if you are afraid to use boiling water, wait until the water temperature drops to at least 70 degrees, and only then pour the liquid into the sink. It is worth emphasizing that boiling water is dangerous for plastic pipes.
