If the ring is too small for you, it doesn’t mean it’s time to buy new jewelry.
Instead, you can increase its size - the appearance will not change if you entrust the procedure to professionals.
There are three ways to roll out the ring.
Boring
This option involves cutting out the inner layer. It is suitable for all models, including complex samples.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to significantly increase the size of the ring by boring: thanks to this method, the product increases by only half a size.
Mechanical stretching
This is a process in which the jewelry is heated, stretched with a rig (a jewelry tool), cleaned and polished to a high shine.
As a rule, mechanical stretching is used for medium-thickness rings without precious stones and complex decorative elements. It allows you to increase the product by 2-3 sizes.
Insert
If you choose a method such as insertion, then the jeweler will cut the jewelry from the bottom and stretch it to the desired size.
Then an insert made of a material of the same color and sample is soldered into the ring. The finished ring is treated with a solution of boric acid to obtain a matte shine.
This method allows you to significantly increase the size of the product while maintaining its appearance unchanged.
