Many of us have faced the problem of clogged sewer pipes.

Even if you have clean and soft water, nothing harmful gets into the pipe, but limescale and blockages will form.

Don't rush to the shops for expensive products. There are folk methods that will save money and won't take much time.

One of these ways to solve the problem involves using baking soda and table vinegar. Plus hot water.

What to do: pour two or three tablespoons of soda into the drain hole, or use a funnel.

If it doesn’t go away right away, push it through with a wooden skewer or cotton swab.

Then pour in a glass of vinegar – the most ordinary table vinegar (9%).

You should pour it in slowly to start the chemical reaction. This means that the soda will foam and fizz.

Let's wait until all this stops. It won't take long - five minutes at most.

Then pour a full kettle of freshly boiled water (2-3 liters) into the hole.

Don't be alarmed if everything starts pouring out from the inside - it's a normal reaction. The hole is probably too clogged. Then we'll repeat the procedure.

But if everything went according to plan and the first time, then after pouring in hot water, leave everything like this for 30-40 minutes. And then rinse the pipes with warm water.
