Many people face this dilemma when doing laundry: what is better to use – washing powder or gel?
Powders are good for dealing with heavy stains, but they are more difficult to rinse out of fabric.
Gels act more gently and are good at temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius.
The downside is that they are not as effective in fairly hard water.
Cost: Many powders are slightly cheaper than gels.
Form: The gel is a solution, so you don’t have to wait for it to dissolve in water.
But powder is granules that require more time and sometimes even stirring or kneading to completely dissolve.
Some people consider the advantages of gels to be convenient packaging that protects against dampness and overflow, whereas boxes of powders can get wet.
As for the impact on health, gels are preferable in this regard, since granulated products can produce weightless dust, which gets into the lungs when inhaled. Very unsafe for allergy sufferers.
In addition, the gel is easier to wash off the skin, while small particles of powder can penetrate into the pores.
