Washing clothes according to all the rules is not as easy as it seems. The result of mistakes made during the cleaning process are stains, deformation of the fabric, loss of color.
We suggest you find out what you shouldn’t do when washing clothes if you want your favorite items in your wardrobe to last as long as possible.
Long wait
Don't put off washing for later - after a few days the stain may be so absorbed that even the most reliable stain remover won't be able to cope with it.
Wash out the stain immediately after it appears, and if you are not confident in your abilities, go to the dry cleaner.
Rub the stain
Never rub items made from thin, delicate fabrics – such manipulations will cause the fibers to become very thin and the clothes will look worn out.
Instead of using a brush or a hard sponge during the washing process, take a paper towel, napkin or dry cloth and blot the dirt with it, pressing slightly. After this, the item should be washed in the manner appropriate for it.
Use boiling water
Hot water only causes some types of stains to settle more firmly on the fabric – as a result, a stain that was initially “not difficult” has become difficult to remove. Instead of using boiling water, wash your clothes in warm water.
Use bleach
Bleach is not suitable for washing all fabrics - for example, this product is contraindicated for items made from delicate materials.
