Not all items in your closet can be cleaned in a washing machine.
If you don't want to lose your favorite wardrobe items and household appliances, don't put the following in the drum.
Volumetric bedding
Do not machine wash bulky items with natural fillings, such as feather pillows and duvets. Down, wool and feathers can become felted, and cotton wool can form lumps.
In addition, water makes things heavier and the machine cannot wring them out, which leads to the drum becoming loose and equipment breakdown.
Things with rhinestones and sequins
Clothes that contain rhinestones, sequins and metal buttons should only be hand washed or dry cleaned - machine washing can cause small parts to come off, which will make the clothes lose their appeal.
In addition, torn off decorations can damage the washing machine: scratch the drum, clog the drain and tear the cuff.
Things of a rigid form
Coats and jackets made of natural wool and cashmere are deformed when machine washed. Take them to the dry cleaner, otherwise your status clothes will turn into a rag.
Leather and fur clothing
Leather, suede and fur clothing should not be washed by yourself unless you want to throw it away. The same applies to items made of artificial fur. The exception is modern eco-leather, which can be machine washed on a delicate cycle without spinning.
