A washing machine is good for more than just cleaning clothes, bed linen and other textiles.
We will hasten to tell you which things you can stop washing by hand – you can trust them to the machine without a shadow of a doubt.
Sports stuff
Protective accessories, like other things, get dirty by absorbing sweat and other dirt. To make the equipment clean again, use a washing machine. First, close all the Velcro and put the equipment in a laundry bag (a regular pillowcase will do).
Yoga mats
Fitness mats should be loaded into the washing machine along with several towels, using the delicate cycle. The water should be cold, and no detergents should be used at all.
Toys
If your baby has a favorite soft toy, for his safety, do not forget to regularly clean it - you can do this in the washing machine if synthetic cotton wool is used as a filler. Use a laundry bag, half as much detergent and a delicate cycle.
Bags
Fabric and vinyl products can be washed in a washing machine with mild detergents, low water temperature and a delicate cycle. If you follow these rules, you can safely wash a leather bag.
Pet beds
Ideally, your pet's bed should be washed at least once a month. Before washing, don't forget to vacuum and shake out the mattress to ensure there is no debris left on it.
