If you pour certain foods down your kitchen sink, sooner or later it will become clogged and you will have to call a plumber.
We tell you which products are strictly forbidden to be poured down the kitchen sink.
What you shouldn't pour down the sink
Firstly, it is forbidden to pour the oil remaining after frying food down the sink.
Food residues stick to the oil that settles on the water pipes, causing a blockage.
Secondly, the flour left over from making pancakes or baking. When interacting with water, flour, as is known, turns into dough, and this can cause a serious blockage.
Thirdly, coffee grounds. They can also turn into a sticky mass and settle on pipes.
