What to do if your clothes have shrunk after washing? There is one proven method that has helped many housewives.
To restore the item, you need to slightly wet it or spray it with water and walk around the house. This works in cases of minor damage and helps the garment to stretch.
If the situation is critical, the following steps should be taken.
Dilute a teaspoon of hair conditioner in a glass of water.
Fill the basin with cold water, add conditioner and stir. Soak the shrunken clothes in this solution for 15-20 minutes.
Drain the water and gently squeeze the item without twisting. Lay it out on a large towel and roll it up to remove excess moisture. Repeat several times.
Then lay the item on a dry towel and shape it gently with your hands. Leave it to dry in this position.
