It is no secret that any item should be cared for in accordance with the instructions on the product label.
But what if there is no tag? Then general rules will help. And that is what we will share with you today – regarding pillows.
Washing mode
Pillows should be washed at low speeds – even spinning should not be done at more than 500 rpm.
If your washing machine supports the "Synthetics" or "Down" modes, select one of them according to the filling of the pillow. The "Delicate Wash" or "Hand Wash" modes are also suitable.
Pillow size
If the pillow is large and does not fit in the washing machine, you need to take out the filling.
Divide it into equal parts and place it in separate covers before washing. This does not apply to materials that cannot be separated without damage.
Detergents
Use liquid or gel detergents to wash your pillows. Dry powder may clog the fibers and not wash out even after rinsing.
Drying
Dry your pillows outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight. Turn and fluff the pillow once an hour – this simple trick will help keep it soft.
