Although synthetic padding is an artificial material, it retains heat very well.
This is why it is often used as a filler for outerwear.
Unfortunately, the material has a serious drawback: during washing it often bunches up, turning into a collection of lumps.
However, following certain recommendations allows you to wash the jacket without deteriorating the condition of the synthetic padding.
And if trouble does make itself known, the consequences can be corrected: there are 3 interesting and effective ways.
How to properly wash a synthetic jacket
To prevent the material from getting lost, you need to follow these rules:
- fasten the garment in advance and remove the fur collar;
- use a bag intended for machine washing;
- apply a liquid detergent;
- activate the delicate wash mode and select a temperature no higher than 40 degrees.
- refuse to wring.
3 Methods Worth Knowing About
If the synthetic padding has turned into lumps, you can straighten it out using any of the following methods:
- wash the jacket again, but without using chemicals, but using a tennis ball: the sports equipment should lie together with the product directly in the washing machine drum;
- hang the trigger and “knock it out” with a “clapper” (a device for beating carpets);
- "vacuum" clothes with bunched up synthetic padding.
