To remove rust from clothes, it is enough to make a stain remover at home.
When removing stains, it is important to remember that it is better to start washing them immediately after they are discovered.
You shouldn't put off washing for too long, otherwise even a strong detergent won't help.
It is also not recommended to use chlorine-based bleach.
How to remove rust stains from white clothes
Here are some ways.
- Citric acid. Dissolve 1 teaspoon in one glass of liquid - this ratio is used to create a large amount of bleach. You need to heat the liquid to 50 degrees, remove from heat and put the clothes there for 15 minutes.
- Vinegar. Pour 1 glass of water and 2 tablespoons of 70% vinegar essence into a saucepan. Soak the clothes for 5 minutes.
- Hydrogen peroxide. You can simply pour a little of the product onto the stain and wait 1 hour.
