What things can not be washed in the washing machine
Firstly, silk items should not be machine washed. If the label states that the item is machine washable, wash it on a gentle cycle, placing the item in a laundry bag.
Secondly, it is not recommended to machine wash ties and bras.
Thirdly, do not wash items with fasteners in the washing machine. Zippers and buttons can get stuck inside the machine or damage other items.
Items decorated with rhinestones and stones also require delicate washing.
