If your white cotton underwear has turned yellow over time, you definitely shouldn’t despair.
You can restore the original color of pillowcases and sheets by soaking them in a special solution.
To do this, take 6 tablespoons of baking soda and another 2 tablespoons of ammonia for 5 liters of warm water.
The laundry should be left in this solution for two hours. If the stains are serious, the soaking process can be extended for another 2 hours.
Then the items need to be rinsed in clean water and then washed in the usual way.
There is also a lazier method, which involves refusing to pre-soak.
In this case, you need to wash your laundry with the addition of not only store-bought bleach, but also baking soda (half a glass of this loose product will be enough).
After such washing, it is important to rinse the duvet covers and pillowcases again.
