Clothespins are a good choice whenever you don't want a strong gust of wind to blow your clothes off the line.
But there is a downside to this: due to the pressure exerted on the fabric, it often takes on a given shape, and characteristic dents from the clothespins appear on the items.
Perhaps the most obvious way to get rid of such defects is to wash the item again. Obvious, but not always appropriate.
Instead of soaking the entire item and then drying it again, try dampening only the area where the crease has formed.
If the fold is not very pronounced, this will usually be enough.
But it also happens that after getting wet the fabric still doesn't want to straighten out. In such a situation you will have to go over it with an iron additionally.
If you find yourself in such a situation, wait until the item dries to a slightly damp state or “help” it with a cold stream of air from a hair dryer, then go over the creased area with an iron.
