Careless handling of pharmaceutical drugs can sometimes lead to serious problems, for example, when a T-shirt is stained with iodine or trousers are stained with potassium permanganate.
But even such seemingly hopeless stains can be removed.
How to remove iodine stains
To restore the product to its original appearance, you will need a paste made from baking soda and vinegar.
There is another way to wash using the same ingredients: first, apply soda to the stain, then pour white vinegar over it. The final stage in any case is machine cleaning.
This paste should be applied to the stained area and left for about 20 minutes, then washed in the washing machine.
How to get rid of traces of potassium permanganate
To emerge victorious in the fight against this type of contamination, use 3% hydrogen peroxide and citric acid (or lemon juice).
Mix both components in equal proportions and apply to the fabric. After 10 minutes, the remains of the homemade stain remover should be washed off with water.
