Kitchen towels are hard enough to keep clean, but even harder to remove when stains set in.
We are talking about stains from coffee, tea, oil, tomatoes, berries, wine, juices and so on – they are almost impossible to remove immediately.
This is one of the reasons why many housewives prefer to use paper towels.
But we're not looking for easy ways - let's see how you can clean towels.
What to do to clean cotton and linen kitchen towels
You need to boil a bucket of water, pour 2 tablespoons of dry bleach, an incomplete glass of washing powder and 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil into the boiling water.
We put dry towels into this mixture and leave the items in the bucket until they cool completely.
After this, all that remains is to rinse the towels. The fabric should be cleaned of dirt.
It's hard to understand what chemical reactions sunflower oil produces, but this method works.
