There are many reasons for insomnia – children, neighbors, stress, or simply the desire to watch an interesting TV series.
Unfortunately, if you do this on a weekday, you will have to pay for it later with a decrease in productivity.
But there are ways that will allow you to feel well-energized and at least wake up for a couple of hours.
But don't rush and drink a lot of coffee.
How to perk up after a sleepless night
Here are some tips.
- Exercise. Do basic exercises for 15 minutes – jogging in place, squats, bends and leg swings.
- Breathing exercises. Take a series of quick breaths and then a series of slow ones.
- Contrast shower. The body will be invigorated by the change in temperature.
- Strong green tea. They say it has even more caffeine than coffee.
- Complex carbohydrates. Such products will help restore the body's energy reserves.
- Take a nap for half an hour at lunch. "Micro-sleeps" work wonders.
- Moisturizing eye drops. Will help get rid of the feeling of "sand in the eyes".
