Most often, the source is the cat litter box. It is not enough to simply remove the waste and rinse the tray with water. In this case, the smell will remain.
Some people use regular detergent or special compounds designed specifically for this purpose. But you can do it much easier.
There is a special method that will allow you to remove the specific smell of a cat.
What does it consist of?
First, you need to clean the tray from the filler in the usual way and rinse it with water. After that, you will need to add 15 drops of iodine to four glasses of water.
Shake the product lightly and start washing the tray. After you have treated the toilet, you need to wait five minutes. Then rinse the tray with water again and dry it with a paper towel.
There will be no trace left of the unpleasant cat smell.
