A tea bag consists of several elements.
The main component is a bag or pyramid made of filter paper or polymer material. Inside are crushed tea leaves.

Many tea lovers don't even think about the purpose of this small piece of cardboard.
Most people are sure that the tag is needed solely to hold on to it with your fingers when you dip the bag into a mug of boiling water, and then remove the bag from the container with the finished tea.
However, contrary to popular belief, this is not the only or even the main purpose of the cardboard square.
The main purpose of the tag
The cardboard is needed to prevent the thread from slipping and ending up in the cup in which the tea is brewed.
The tag must be placed under the container before boiling water is poured in.
As a result, the square will be well fixed. Preparing your favorite drink will not be accompanied by small troubles.
