Household chemicals
If you have a product at home that is designed to combat rust, then you can safely use it to work with cotton products.
We apply household chemicals to cotton wool, treat the stain and send the clothes to the washing machine.
Citric acid
It is necessary to dissolve citric acid in a small amount of water. After that, the prepared product is applied to the rust marks.
The exposure time should be about 10 minutes. Then wash the clothes.
Vinegar
This method is quite time-consuming, but it helps to cope even with old rust stains. You will need to dilute a glass of vinegar in a sufficient amount of water (about ten liters) and put things in this solution overnight.
In the morning we wring out the clothes and wash them.
