Sometimes it happens that a housewife does not have a washing machine at her disposal, and sometimes household appliances can fail and break down.
In this case, there is no other choice but to wash the laundry by hand.
This procedure will be easier to handle if you follow these tips.
1. Prepare your bed linen: sort by color and type of fabric, turn inside out if necessary.
2. Choose the right detergent: Use a mild detergent to wash your clothes. Choose a detergent without bleach or other aggressive components.
3. Pour water into a large container: a basin or bucket is best. Even a bathtub will do.
4. Add detergent to water: dissolve washing powder or washing gel in water. Make sure that the detergent is completely dissolved.
5. Immerse the bedding in the solution and leave it there for a while.
6. Using gentle movements, wash the duvet cover, pillowcases and sheets, then rinse the linen thoroughly. At the same time, it is worth rubbing the items lightly with your hands to remove any remaining detergent.
7. The next step is wringing. Carefully wring out the bed linen without twisting it. Do not wring the items too much so as not to damage their structure.
8. Drying: After spinning, hang the bedding on a drying rack or clothesline to dry. Iron the items if necessary.
