Kiseya, which is nothing more than rope curtains, copes well with the task of diffusing light and shading the room, which may explain its popularity.

However, like any other product, thread curtains need cleaning from time to time.

If caring for muslin still seems complicated to you, we will hasten to dissuade you and tell you about the rules that should be followed when washing such curtains.

Although you can use a washing machine to care for fabrics made from threads, today we will focus on hand washing, since this is the only option that is suitable for absolutely all types of muslin, including those made from beads and glass beads.

So, to prevent the threads from getting tangled, divide them into longitudinal parts, each of which should be tied with ribbons in several places. This should be done even when the curtains are hanging peacefully on the cornice.

Now remove the curtains and soak them for 20-20 minutes in a soap solution at a temperature of 30-40 degrees.

After the specified time, add water heated to 40 degrees to the washing container (usually a bathtub) and gently knead the threads with your hands.

All that's left to do is drain the water and rinse the curtains under the shower to remove the detergent.

After rinsing, squeeze the curtain slightly, wait for the water to drain, and hang it back on the curtain rod.
