It's hard to say that there is a specific time for a clog to form in a sink drain.
However, sometimes this trouble comes in handy - just when all the means for punching pipes have suddenly run out.
There is no need to despair and run to the household chemicals store – the necessary product can probably be found in your kitchen cabinet.
And now, as you might have guessed, we are talking about baking soda. However, baking powder alone will not be enough. In addition to it, you will also need vinegar.
So, you need to pour at least half a pack of soda into the clogged drain.
Now pour half a glass of acetic acid here. If everything was done correctly, you will be able to observe the reaction in the form of hissing.
After the mixture has "hissed", wait about 10 minutes, and then pour boiling water into the pipes, and then turn on a good stream of hot water.
All the substance that has accumulated in the pipes and prevented the water from flowing freely will be corroded by the prepared soda-vinegar “cocktail”.
