Despite the abundance of household chemicals that are available to modern housewives, many of them prefer to use folk methods.
We have compiled a selection of the most effective ways to remove stains that will come to the rescue if ketchup dripped onto the hem of your skirt or your shirt sleeve got stained with berry juice.
Grease stains
Removing such marks is easy if you have the simplest baby powder on hand. Apply it to the stained area, then cover with a paper napkin and leave for 15 minutes.
After the specified time, wash the clothes in warm water.
Berries
The easiest way to remove stains left by berries is to apply a mixture of one tablespoon of vinegar and the same amount of lemon juice. After 10 minutes, rinse the cleaning solution with warm water and wash as usual.
Coffee
A stain left by a spilled cup of espresso will disappear after applying a mixture of equal parts glycerin and water with a couple of drops of ammonia.
Pomade
To get rid of a bright red lip print on a shirt collar, soak the item for 10 minutes in a solution of a glass of water and a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.
By the way, this same method has proven itself to be excellent in removing traces of foundation.
