Housewives have not yet settled the issue of whether to wash eggs before cooking, when another dispute arose.
It turns out that another point concerns the way they are broken.
Do you need to wash eggs?
The egg shell is porous. Microorganisms live on the outside of the shell. But inside there is a cuticle that protects the yolk and white.
When washing eggs, certain particles may end up inside. If there is chicken manure on the eggs, remove it immediately before cooking. Otherwise, microorganisms may multiply in the eggs.
So there is no particular point in washing eggs. The bacteria will still be there, including salmonella.
Why you can't break things on dishes
Many housewives break eggs on the edges of dishes. Some people like it this way, and for others it is just a habit. However, experts do not recommend doing this, because dirt can get inside the egg.
For a similar reason, experts do not recommend separating the yolk and white in the shell.
