How to get rid of cockroaches without dichlorvos

There are currently a ton of products designed to combat cockroaches – in the form of sprays, gels, glue traps…

Despite their high efficiency, the question of their safety for humans and pets remains open.

For this reason, it is worth taking a closer look at folk remedies - fortunately, our ancestors had more than enough of them.

For example, it has long been believed that strong smells, such as geranium or chamomile, can help repel cockroaches.

Therefore, you can place a couple of vases with pelargonium in the kitchen, after which the mustachioed "guests" will hurry to get out of the apartment. Chamomile will have to be used a little differently: the flowers need to be dried and ground into powder, which will be scattered in places where cockroaches accumulate.

Geranium and chamomile are not the only plants whose aroma parasites cannot stand.

Natural repellents also include wild rosemary, wormwood, bay leaf, pyrethrum and others.

Like any other method, this method has its pros and cons. Thus, the advantages of the method include its environmental friendliness, while the disadvantage is low efficiency in case of severe infestation.
