Washing the hood, or more precisely its grille, can hardly be called a pleasant task.
Of course, you can brighten up such a pastime with the help of strong household chemicals.
However, in this case you can’t do without “equipment”.
If you decide to clean every element of your kitchen using acidic and alkaline solutions poured into jars, a mask and gloves should become your mandatory “attributes”.
Fortunately, there is a much more convenient option that our grandmothers used.
To do this, you will need regular laundry soap, which is famous for its effectiveness in combating greasy deposits. Important: liquid laundry soap is not suitable for washing the hood grate.
Grate a bar of soap, pour boiling water over it and stir until completely dissolved, then lower the grate into the resulting mixture.
Light stains will come off on their own, but heavy stains will need some help from an old toothbrush.
