To restore white curtains to their original whiteness, you need to soak them before washing and add one of the natural products.
This is a great option to give curtains a second life, for example, when they have acquired a yellowish tint due to sunlight.
Ways to restore your curtains to a snow-white appearance
1. Salt. Use 5-7 tbsp of the product per 5 liters of water. Soak the curtains in the salty liquid for about an hour. Then wash the product according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2. Citric acid (lemon juice). Not only helps remove yellowness, but also gives curtains a pleasant aroma and freshness.
3. Soda. Soak the curtains in the bath for several hours, adding 500 g of the product. The fabric of the product will become softer and acquire a snow-white appearance.
4. Vinegar and salt. This method is great for curtains made of synthetic fabrics. The items are soaked in a solution of 4-5 tbsp. salt and ½ cup vinegar per 10 liters of hot water.
5. Baking powder. Use one package for 5 liters of water.
