Many people brew tea bags once and then throw the used bag in the trash.
However, resourceful housewives have found several ways to reuse tea bags in everyday life.
For indoor plants
A controversial option. Some experts are of the opinion that tea leaves should not be used as fertilizer for indoor plants. Others are sure that it is an excellent fertilizer, but it should be applied in moderation.
From ingrained odors
Garlic, onions, and fish often leave a characteristic pungent odor on your hands. To get rid of the aroma, housewives rub the tea bag with their hands to kill the stench.
Caring for wooden furniture
Even in Soviet times, tea was used to polish wooden furniture. The substances it contains help to give the surface a shine and hide small scratches.
Air freshener
After use, dry the bags and then moisten them with a few drops of any essential oil.
This “fragrance” can be placed in shoes, a wardrobe, ventilation, behind a radiator or other secluded place.
Guests won’t see the tea bag, but they will smell the pleasant aroma that has settled in the room or the entire apartment.
