For work you will need ½ cup of soda, some water and vinegar. First mix water and sodium bicarbonate. It should turn into a paste.
Wipe the oven with a damp microfiber cloth, then apply the mixture to the dirty areas with a sponge or brush and leave for 20 minutes.
Then dip a clean sponge into a solution of water and vinegar and wash off the soda and grease. Light and medium dirt is removed the first time. In more complex cases, you may need to repeat the procedure.
Baking soda (alkali) and vinegar (acid) make a great tandem when it comes to removing grease. Sodium bicarbonate is a gentle and inexpensive product that neutralizes dirt without leaving scratches.
Vinegar is used as a final step to dissolve any remaining deposits and dirt. Apple cider vinegar or white vinegar are suitable for cleaning the oven.
